MIDAS+ Seeker—Provider Tracking and Verification

MIDAS+ Seeker gives you the comprehensive solution you need to establish a paperless credentials verification system for one or more organizations and to track data for health plans and managed care organizations.

Credentialing is the process of ensuring that a practitioner has the credentials he or she claims. This process includes all the activities associated with the primary source verification of the practitioner’s history and qualifications. With MIDAS+ Seeker, you have the tools to transform your verification process to paperless. Real-time outbound interfaces give your organization the option to use Seeker as your primary provider database and interface with your HIS system and/or the MIDAS+ Care Management system.

From a credentialing standpoint, health plans and managed care organizations must still track and verify providers’ individual qualifications, but they must also maintain records of providers at practice locations, as well as specific information related to the practice. MIDAS+ Seeker gives health plans and managed care organizations the functionality they need to track information about the provider and the provider at a practice, as well as practice information.

"A doctor just asked for a printout of the medical staff—a chore in the past with a very cumbersome report from Data Processing that I would have to go through for accuracy and it would take a day or more to get. “Well. . . not any more. I went into standard reports and printed names and addresses for the medical staff—all categories. Didn't take five minutes. I know that sooner or later I will stop doing back flips over every single accomplishment, but right now this is so cool. "
