MIDAS+ Seeker—Continuing Medical Education and Committees
With Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Committees functionality in MIDAS+ Seeker, you have a
comprehensive package for tracking providers’ external and internal CME activities and attendance and current
committee/department membership and attendance.
CME activities help ensure that healthcare providers maintain a level of clinical competence
in their practice of medicine. Use CME in MIDAS+ Seeker to track CME activities external to
your organization as part of the credentialing process and to coordinate and provide CME
activities within your organization for accreditation from the American Council of Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME).
Committee and service or department participation is often used as an evaluator for continued
medical staff membership. Use the Committee Roster and Attendance functions in
MIDAS+ Seeker to track current committee/department roster membership, maintain a historical
archive of membership, schedule recurring meetings, and track meeting notifications,
RSVPs, and attendance, as well as stipend payments to medical staff leaders.
Features and Benefits

"A doctor just asked for a printout of the medical staff—a chore in the past with a very cumbersome report from Data Processing that I would have to go through for accuracy and it would take a day or more to get.
“Well. . . not any more. I went into standard reports and printed names and addresses for the medical staff—all categories. Didn't take five minutes. I know that sooner or later I will stop doing back flips over every single accomplishment, but right now this is so cool.
