This module ensures a comprehensive approach to emergency preparedness planning. It provides pre-defined Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) information such as emergency preparedness tracers, automated alerts, job action sheets, emergency drills and scenarios, a graphical organizational responsibility matrix and an emergency related document repository. The module includes an emergency preparedness plan generator. This tool guides users through a series of questions, encompassing various emergency-related topics, to produce a proper and complete plan. This plan is then available and accessible for reference.

The module also includes a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis (HVA) for many pre-defined events. You can customize event names and create supplemental events and categories.

Given the federal government's financial support for emergency preparedness activities, the module also includes the most recent version of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) objectives. You can proactively assess and review these objectives to prove eligibility for funding opportunities.
