MIDAS+ Care Management—Focus Study
The Focus module allows organizations to design custom data collection forms that track a particular patient
population or process as well as create custom data entry fields to supplement standard MIDAS+ modules.
The Focus module is a powerful and widely used tool in the MIDAS+ Care Management system that allows you to easily
customize your own screens for data collection. You can build a data collection module from the ground up which
will instantly be available for reporting, SmarTrack™ rules or worklists.
A user-defined Focus study works just like any other module we have provided for you. Focus studies are excellent
tools for variance collection, quality improvement tracking, and monitoring processes of care.
A Focus study is your opportunity to eliminate all the spreadsheets and custom databases throughout your
organization and at last get all that data integrated in one place. MIDAS+ also allows for the development of
Extended User Fields for many of our existing functions in the system. This allows the user to "add on" data
elements to existing forms. With this functionality, you are never without the data you need.
